Notice
Dark Web is currently unavailable. Please reach out to Vouched Support for any questions.
Vouched's Dark Web feature is an add-on to Crosscheck that scan's the candidate's email address against several proprietary databases for malicious, identity-compromised, or criminal activity on the dark web.
It uses the person's email address to look up criminal activity on dark web sites and applications. Based on customer research, we expect dark web activity to be under 0.5% for most users. The data is displayed on the dashboard at the bottom of the Crosscheck tab.
Requirements
In order for Dark Web to run, the following requirements must be met:
-
Dark Web must be run together with CrossCheck enabled. It cannot be run independently.
- Dark Web requires the candidate's email address to be submitted. If the verification job is submitted without an email address, the Dark Web results will not be displayed.
